Are Sloths Friendly? Sloths are pretty chill animals, but calling them "friendly" might be a stretch. They're not aggressive, but they also don't seek out interactions with humans or other animals. These slow movers prefer a peaceful existence, hanging out in trees and munching on leaves. If you ever get close to a sloth, keep in mind they're not used to humans and can be stressed by too much attention. They're happy just hanging out alone in their leafy world.
